COMMITTEE GOALS

• Provide avenues for education with respect to alcohol and other drug concerns.
• Provide avenues for prevention activities related to alcohol and other drug concerns.
• Seek funding and other means to support the activities of the committee.
• Network with agencies and people external to the colleges who can help advance the mission of the committee.
• Serve as a resource to each other for alcohol and other drug prevention and education activities.
• Provide opportunities for professional development to the members of the committee and their associates.
• Help institutions of higher education in New Hampshire maintain compliance with the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act of 1989 and other federal mandates.
• Minimize program costs when appropriate through bulk purchase of joint materials development.
